My name is Megan Mouser. I am a high school math teacher outside of Jackson, TN. I enjoy running, drinking hot tea, and watching the Nashville Predators. This will be my 8th year as a counselor and I will
be serving as lead counselor.

My name is Patrick Layton. I'm from Dickson, TN. I graduated from Free Will Baptist Bible College in 2004 with a B.S. in History and Bible. I will serve as the summer camp Program Director.

My name is Claiborne Scott. I am a Junior at Austin Peay State
University studying Hospitality Management. This will be my third year
as a counselor at Cumberland Camp. I am the Media Tech again this year and I cant wait to take pictures of all the fun things at Cumberland Youth Camp!

My name is Wil Gates I am 22 years old and a senior at Welch college
studying Physical Education. This will be my third year as a counselor. My two favorite things to do is to play any sport and talk about Star Wars.

My name is Mack Waddell and I am 19 years old. This is my first
summer as a counselor at Cumberland Youth Camp. I go to Welch
College in Gallatin, TN. I am studying to major in nursing specializing
in Trauma Intensive Care.

My name is Emma Bowen, and I'm 19 years old. I'm going into my
junior year of college this fall. I enjoy spending time with my close
friends, and finding cool places to hike. This is my second year at
camp, and I couldn't be more excited!

My name is Sam Myers, I am a student at the Nashville State
Community College where I am studying Information Technology,
concentrating in Administration and Support.

My name is Keith. This will only be my third summer as a counselor
for Cumberland Camp. I am a local; born and raised in Woodlawn TN,
just 10 minutes from the camp. I am a math and science teacher during most of the year, which allows me to have summers off to be here.

I am Derrick Jator. I am 20 years old. I go to school at Austin Peay
State University. I enjoy working out, playing Basketball, hanging out
with friends, and listening to music!

My name is Isaac Raymer and I’m 19 years old. I was homeschooled and I graduated 2017. This is my first year as a counselor. I enjoy spending my free time playing soccer and camping.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Newland or Liz. I’m 22 years old. My home
church is New Hope FWBC, I’ve been there my whole life and love my church family. I love playing volleyball. I have been learning ASL (American Sign Language) and plan to take more classes this
summer. This is my first year as a counselor.

Hi! My name is Nick Hampton. I’m 29, and I work for a company called Centerstone where I work as a school based mental health therapist at Sycamore High School in Pleasant View, Tennessee. This will be my 8th year as counselor.

Volunteer State Community College. I am a chai latte drinking, Jesus loving, picture taking gal whose goal in life is to help people through their problems. This is my first year as a camp counselor!

first year as a counselor and I’m super excited to see what God has in
store for me and the camp this summer!
